The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) issued on 9 February a preliminary determination approving a 750,000 m.t./year ammonia plant that BASF and Yara propose to build at Freeport, TX. BASF and Yara have not yet committed to the project, which was first announced in October 2013.
