EPA has granted a Greenhouse Gas Prevention of Significant Deterioration (GHG PSD) permit to OCI’s planned world-scale methanol plant at Beaumont, TX. Nova Chemicals has agreed to be the anchor shipper for Kinder Morgan Energy Partners’ Utica to Ontario Pipeline Access (Utopia) project, which will carry ethane and ethane-propane mixtures from the Utica shale basin to Nova’s Corunna, Ontario, facility.
