EPA has approved Honeywell’s refrigerant Solstice N-40 (R-448A) for use in a range of applications including retail food refrigeration, refrigerated transport, and commercial ice machines. EPA has also broadened the approval of Solstice N13 (R-450A) to include use in new vending machines.
