During the week ended 19 September, chemical railcar traffic in North America decreased 0.7% year-over-year (YOY) on strong gains in the United States. For all of North America, chemical railcar traffic during the week totaled 42,447 carloads, up 2.6% from the previous week, according to data released on 23 September by the Association of American Railroads (AAR).
