Airgas Inc. (Radnor, Pennsylvania) says one employee was killed in an explosion at its nitrous oxide production facility in Cantonment, Florida, on 28 August. The facility is adjacent to an Ascend Performance Materials (Houston) site that produces and nylon 6,6 and also supplies Airgas with feedstock.
