During the week ended 26 September, chemical railcar traffic in North America decreased 3.5% year-on-year on declines in both the United States and Canada. For all of North America, chemical railcar traffic during the week totaled 41,663 carloads, down 1.8% from the previous week, according to data released on 30 September by the Association of American Railroads.
