Olin reports fourth-quarter net income of $12.8 million, down 48% year-over-year (YOY) on declines in both the chlor-alkali and Winchester ammunition segments. However, the company expects gains in 2015, notably in chlor-alkali, which Olin sees emerging from the current trough. Sales totaled $500 million, down 11% YOY from $562 million. Adjusted earnings of 25 cts/share beat the mean analysts’ estimate of 22 cts/share as compiled by Thomson Reuters (New York).
