US benzene imports fell for the second consecutive month in July, according to data collected by IHS Markit, and net imports reached the lowest level of 2016. Benzene loadings from South Korea have been in decline for much of the year, while low prices in May and June pushed shipments to other regions. Since the end of the first quarter, monthly benzene imports have averaged about 140,000 metric tons, whereas the market needs net imports of about 150,000 metric tons per month to balance....
