During the week ended 12 September, chemical railcar traffic in North America decreased 0.6% year-over-year (YOY) on declines in the United States and Mexico. For all of North America, chemical railcar traffic during the week totaled 41,380 carloads, down 4.9% from the previous week, according to data released on 16 September by the Association of American Railroads (AAR).

For all of North America, chemical railcar traffic during the week totaled 43,484 carloads, up 1.2% from the previous week but down 2.1% YOY, according to data released on 27 May by the Association of American Railroads (AAR).
