Eduardo E. Cordeiro is Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Cabot Corporation.
Cabot is a global leading producer of specialty chemicals and performance materials, with sales of $3.1 billion in 2011. Founded in 1882, the Company is based in Boston, Massachusetts, and has operations in more than 20 countries. Cabot is a public company, quoted on the NYSE under CBT.

Mr. Cordeiro was named CFO in 2009. In his current role, he has oversight for all financial functions, as well as information technology, purchasing, and corporate communications. He also has responsibility for the corporate strategy function for the Company, including strategy development and portfolio management. Mr. Cordeiro also is a member of the Company’s Executive Committee.

Since joining Cabot in 1998, Mr. Cordeiro has held several senior management positions, including Corporate Controller, Director of Investor Relations, General Manager of Cabot's Fumed Metal Oxides business, and General Manager of the Supermetals business. He also led the Superior MicroPowders business development activities for the Company, and was Vice President of Corporate Strategy before being named CFO. Prior to joining Cabot, Mr. Cordeiro was a consultant with the Boston Consulting Group.

Mr. Cordeiro is on the board of FMC Corporation, one of the world’s foremost, diversified chemical companies with leading positions in agricultural, industrial and consumer markets.

Mr. Cordeiro earned his MBA from Harvard Business School and a B.A. in Economics from Harvard University.
